Chris Burrows Personal Training takes the privacy of clients very seriously and fully adheres to the guidelines laid out within the ‘The General Data Protection Regulation 2018’.
Definitions:
The following terms are used throughout this policy.

This policy relates to the use of this website and any contact made with Chris Burrows Personal Training. Who owns/runs this website?
This website was build and is run, solely by Chris Burrows and no other individual has access to it. Chris Burrows is therefore the data protection officer of this site. To contact him please use the contact form.
What data do we collect and what is it used for?
Information is collected via the contact form. This includes:
- Name
- Email address
- Phone number (if given by you)
- A brief description of your health/fitness goals
- Your availability regarding training
- Any questions you have regarding training.
Other information may also be collected via any emails, texts or phone calls you make/send to us.
Chris Burrows Personal Training also uses search engine tools such Google Analytics & Bing Webmaster tools. We use these tools to improve the browsing experience of users visiting this site and to check the effectiveness of our marketing. We use the minimum amount of data required to accomplish this. A small cookie will be placed on your computer to allow us to enable this. Should you want to stop this happening, or delete the cookie you can do so using the settings of your browser (i.e. Firefox, Chrome, Internet explorer, Opera).
Data is also stored by the companies listed above and we never make copies of it or supply it to any other company or individual. As mentioned above, we have no control over data stored by other sites and companies. If you wish to know what data they hold on you please contact them directly.
Any information collected is purely related to providing you with a tailored service and is never stored for any longer than is necessary.
Chris Burrows Personal Training will never share your data with others or use it to plague you with newsletters or offers.
How your data is stored:
Any data provided by you via the contact form or email is stored purely digitally within Chris Burrows email server. The servers are always run by reputable companies and all email accounts are password protected. Copies of your data are only made when signing up to train with Chris Burrows Personal Training. Any digital or paper copies of this data are either password protected or stored in a locked drawer away from the gym. This data is stored for as long as you are using our services or for a maximum of three years should you decide to cease.
Basically, it’s not unless you ask us to so. Some users ask that certain information is given to another health care professional they are employing. The only other reason we would consider providing others with your data is if we are forced to by a court order or a new law.
Your Rights:
As a data subject, you have the following rights under the GDPR 2018. This policy and our method of use of personal data have been designed to uphold these rights. These rights include but may not be limited to the following:
- The right to be informed about our collection and use of your personal data (as detailed in this policy).

If you would like it changed, amended, deleted, restricted, processed in any of the ways listed above or have a complaint then again, please contact us in the same way. If we are unable to help (this is incredibly unlikely) then you have the right to lodge a complaint the information commissioner’s office.

Your right to withhold information.
You can access certain areas of this site without providing any date to us. However, certain areas or the site may not work and you will have a hard time filling out the contact form.
Changes to this policy.
